The Story

A couple heads into the same Northern California forest where the famous Bigfoot footage was filmed, hoping to shoot their own research videos and maybe capture proof of their own. By the second night, they’ve stopped being the ones doing the tracking.

Verdict

Take the setup and patient mood of The Blair Witch Project and swap the threat for Bigfoot — that’s essentially the whole pitch, and it works better than it has any right to. Still manages real, sustained creepiness in its second half, and the ending leave a little bit of ambiguity, which i think in this case was a good idea.
