The Story
A suspended professor leads a documentary crew to the edge of the Arctic Circle, convinced Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein was based on a true story, and determined to prove it once and for all.
Verdict
I genuinely love the premise here, and I wish the execution matched the ambition of the idea more consistently. The Arctic setting is a nice bit of scenery this genre doesn’t use often enough, and I think the film deserves credit for trying something different, even if it doesn’t fully land.
