The Story
Two guys chasing their dream of a hunting show head into the remote mountains of West Virginia, cameras rolling, hoping to bag something big enough to impress a network. What they find after dark is considerably bigger than they bargained for.
Verdict
I actually like the hunting-show framing device here, it gives the setup a slightly different flavor than the usual camping-trip premise this subgenre defaults to. That said, it leans a bit too hard on standard found footage jump-cut scares by the end, and I don’t think it fully capitalizes on its own hook.
