The Story
A woman travels to Italy to investigate what really happened to her mother, who allegedly murdered three people during her own exorcism years earlier, and finds herself pulled into a series of unauthorized exorcisms in the process.
Verdict
I mostly remember this one for its notoriously abrupt ending, which cuts away and points viewers to a website instead of actually resolving anything. It genuinely soured a lot of the goodwill the first hour had built up for me, and I think it’s a big part of why the film’s reputation never fully recovered despite doing well at the box office.
