The Story
A young photographer’s online relationship with a woman he’s never met takes an unexpected turn once he and his friends decide to finally track her down in person.
Verdict
Whether this is entirely real or partly staged has been debated for years now, and honestly it doesn’t change much for me either way. I still find it tense and quietly unsettling, and I think it’s one of the earliest films to really capture how fragile online identity actually is. Worth watching even if you already know how it ends.
