The Story
Five years after fifteen people died on opening night of a Halloween haunted-house attraction, a documentary crew returns to the scene to piece together what the official investigation never fully explained.
Verdict
The strongest choice this film makes is committing entirely to the haunted-attraction setting rather than treating it as a gimmick — every prop, mannequin, and dark hallway is doing double duty as both set dressing and genuine threat, so you’re never sure what’s staged and what isn’t. That ambiguity is where most of the dread comes from, well before the film needs to show you anything overtly supernatural.
