The Story
A teenager’s mother vanishes on vacation abroad, and with no way to fly out herself, she has to solve the disappearance from home using nothing but apps, cameras, and whatever she can dig up online.
Verdict
Missing takes the Searching formula and genuinely expands it rather than just repeating it. More apps, more tools, more twists, and I found myself surprised more than once by where it went. It’s a spiritual sequel rather than a direct one, and it earns its own place instead of just riding the original’s coattails.
