The Story
A guy picks up a laptop someone left behind and stumbles onto a folder of disturbing files buried on it. The previous owner wants it back, and isn’t going through customer support to get it.
Verdict
Even better than the orignal – and that’s a rare thing to say for a sequel! It drops the ghost-in-the-chatroom angle entirely in favor of a grounded, genuinely nasty dark-web conspiracy, and I think that shift makes it even scarier in a more plausible way.
