The Story
A man promised an in-person meeting with his favorite actress gets offered a secret live feed into her life instead, and the deal quickly turns into a genuine nightmare for both of them.
Verdict
I think this one deserves more credit than it usually gets. Elijah Wood is genuinely good in it, and the screenlife format here is doing something properly inventive — the whole film plays out across a single laptop screen with real style, long before that became a common trick. The cat-and-mouse tension between watching someone and being watched builds in a way that feels distinct from most stalker thrillers, and Nacho Vigalondo clearly had a real vision for what this format could do. Unjustifiably underrated — not a perfect film, but a nice watch.
