The Story
A man buys a house cheap at a sheriff’s sale, planning to flip it for a profit, and installs a network of security cameras throughout the property. What those cameras end up capturing is a lot stranger than a burglar.
Verdict
Low-budget and genuinely a one-man production, but I think it has a certain scrappy charm to it that a lot of bigger-budget films in this genre lack. The security-camera format is a nice variation on the usual handheld approach, and it clearly struck a chord with enough people to spawn a whole minor franchise.
