The Story

Two friends turn a once-in-a-lifetime trip around the world into a travel-vlog series, chronicling the whole thing on camera. A stranger’s bite during a stop in Europe starts changing one of them into something that needs to feed, and the footage keeps rolling as it gets worse.

Verdict

Two friends turn what should be the trip of a lifetime into something neither of them expected, and I think the film handles that shift really well. The isolation of being far from home, with nobody around who understands what’s actually happening, does real work here, and the transformation effects punch well above the budget. One of the better vampire films the found footage genre has produced, and there aren’t many to compare it to.
