The Story
A journalist chasing down a government cover-up follows the trail into a sprawling, abandoned rail tunnel network beneath Sydney. It becomes clear fairly quickly why the authorities wanted that particular story kept quiet.
Verdict
Crowd-funded, and it shows in the best possible way — the real, oppressive location does most of the heavy lifting, and this might be one of the strongest creature-threat setups the genre has produced. A flooded-room sequence in particular sticks with you long after. It’s also free to watch on YouTube, so there’s genuinely no excuse not to.
