The Story
A video artist answers an online ad for filming work, hoping to find something genuinely shocking to shoot. She drives out to a remote house and meets a man who claims to be a serial killer. She agrees to spend the day with him anyway.
Verdict
A stronger film than the first one, mostly because it flips the dynamic. This time the person walking into danger isn’t naive, she’s curious on purpose, and that changes the whole tone. Still not a film I’d call a personal favorite, but it’s a genuine improvement on the original.
