The Story
Two siblings spend a week at their estranged grandparents’ remote farmhouse, and the elderly couple’s behavior gets more unsettling with every night that passes.
Verdict
You’ll never look at seniors quite the same way after this one! I think the scares genuinely work, and the two young leads give strong performances, though they read a bit too mature for their age at times. Like a lot of higher-budget found footage, it can feel too polished for its own good, and I did find myself wondering whether their mother would really have trusted them with that kind of camera gear in the first place. But it doesn’t affect the quality of the movie.
