The Story
A local TV reporter and her cameraman tag along with a Barcelona fire crew for what looks like a routine call to an apartment building. Within minutes, the authorities seal every exit from the outside, and it becomes clear something already inside the building isn’t going to let anyone leave.
Verdict
Real-time, one location, no fat on it anywhere. The shaky camera work stops being a gimmick almost immediately and becomes the entire source of tension — you see exactly as much as the characters do, which is never quite enough. Calling this “just a zombie movie” undersells what’s actually happening by the final ten minutes. One of the tightest, most purely effective found footage films ever made.
