The Story
Decades of unexplained disappearances in a small Alaskan town point toward something far bigger than local investigators are willing to admit. A psychologist’s own patient sessions, presented alongside dramatized reenactments, start uncovering exactly what’s been happening.
Verdict
Bigger budget, more recognizable faces, nothing especially new plot-wise — but a handful of shock moments land hard. The constant back-and-forth between straight dramatization and supposed real footage pulls you out of the experience more than it should, and it’s worth knowing that framing is far more fictionalized than the film wants you to believe.
