The Story
An archaeology team uncovers a buried pyramid in Egypt, older than anything on record. They go inside to document it. Something down there has been waiting for them.
Verdict
Man, that one did disappoint me! I was expecting a found footage meets Indiana Jones meets The Mummy movies and it kinda was, just not as good as expected. Still, a decent creature-feature setup, but that never quite lives up to its own premise. The pyramid’s maze of tunnels is genuinely creepy in the early scenes, but the CGI creature reveal undercuts a lot of that tension. Fine as a quick, disposable watch.
