Kids vs. Aliens
Genre HORROR COMEDY
Theme Aliens & UFOs
Style Not Found Footage
Director: Jason Eisener · Cast: Phoebe Rex, Dominic Mariche, Calem MacDonald, Asher Grayson
The Story
Gary wants to make crazy home movies with his friends. His older sister Samantha just wants to be cool. When their parents leave town for Halloween weekend and a big teen party goes wrong because of an alien attack, the siblings have to work together to survive the night.
Verdict
Not found footage. It is an expanded version of Jason Eisener’s “Slumber Party Alien Abduction” segment from V/H/S/2, with a lot of the same energy. The kids film their own home movies at the start, but then it becomes a normal film. It is loud, silly and gory, with a very 80s feeling. I had fun with it and I would put it on for a Halloween party, but do not expect anything deep.
