[Rec]4: Apocalypse
Genre HORROR
Theme Zombies / Infected
Style Not Found Footage
Director: Jaume Balagueró · Cast: Manuela Velasco, Paco Manzanedo, Héctor Colomé, Ismael Fritschi
The Story
Reporter Ángela Vidal survived the apartment building, but she still carries the infection. She is taken to a quarantine lab on an old oil tanker far out at sea, where the soldiers and scientists on board soon realize nobody is safe.
Verdict
This one is not found footage at all, it is a normal action-horror film, so do not expect the camera style of the first two. It is the end of the series and it brings back Manuela Velasco, which I was happy about. A ship is a good place for a quarantine story, and it has a few strong moments, but it feels more like a farewell than a great film. Watch it to finish the story, not for the scares.
