The Story
Six found-footage tapes, six different directors, one shared thread: every single story unfolds on the night of October 31st, from a decaying costume shop to a Halloween house party gone very wrong.
Verdict
Six directors, six completely different flavors of dread, and somehow it mostly works. What stands out most is how committed every segment is to the actual holiday, not one of them feels like a generic horror short with a pumpkin slapped on top. Paco Plaza’s contribution is the clear standout for me, but that’s exactly the appeal of an anthology like this, everyone will walk away with a different favorite.
