The Story
A pair of Vatican-sent investigators travel to a remote English church to quietly debunk a reported miracle, and find something considerably harder to explain away.
Verdict
I really enjoy this one, and I think it’s underrated. The tech specialist character adds some genuinely funny moments that most possession films don’t bother with, which makes the shift into real dread later on land harder by contrast. The ending caught me off guard in a good way, and I still think about the final images from time to time. One of my personal picks in this whole batch.
