The Story
A group of cold-case investigators spend several nights at a manor tied to a decades-old unsolved family murder. What they leave behind is footage that’s hard to look at.
Verdict
This one won me back over after the previous two entries left me a little lukewarm. Stepping away from the hotel and into a new location gave the story room to breathe, and I genuinely think this is the best-reviewed sequel for a reason. It feels closer in spirit to what made the original work. If you gave up on the series after the second or third film, I’d say this one is worth coming back for.
