The Story
Five friends road-trip across the country in an RV, chasing rumors of underground haunted-house attractions far more extreme than anything you’d find at a commercial haunt.
Verdict
If you want a found footage pick specifically for Halloween night, I’d point you here first. The performances feel convincing, the characters are likable enough that I actually cared what happened to them, and I think the escalation once the group finally annoys the wrong haunt is genuinely well earned. Not a perfect film, but it nails the seasonal mood better than almost anything else on this list.
