A made-for-TV documentary frames five separate found footage nightmares, all dragged up from the grim, forgotten underbelly of the 1980s.
Verdict
With Scott Derrickson and David Bruckner both contributing, I went in with high expectations, and mostly they’re met. This is one of the more consistently gory, mean-spirited entries in the whole franchise, which some fans will love and others will find exhausting. I landed somewhere in the middle, genuinely impressed by a couple of segments, less so by others.
