The Story
A teenager’s home movie unravels into a string of horrifying revelations, pushing the franchise out of the analog decades and into the last gasp of the VHS era right before the millennium.
Verdict
I think this one leans a bit too hard into style over substance compared to 94, and the punk-rock late-90s aesthetic, while fun, doesn’t always translate into segments that actually land. Still worth watching for genre fans, just not my pick if you’re only trying one entry.
